StatusReport: StatusNet mobile Beta 3 is now available, OStatus 1.0 Draft 2 released!

StatusNet has been hacking away this past week on the StatusNet mobile client to bring you the ultimate in mobile social messaging!

The StatusNet mobile Beta 3 is now available for the iPhone and the Android. Come try it out and tell us what you think!

Also, the OStatus 1.0 Draft 2 specification has been released. It includes an explicit copyright and patent license under the OWFa agreement. Head over to ostatus.org and check out Evan Prodromou's latest post entitled OStatus 1.0 Draft 2 Available under OWFa.

Upcoming Events

Jon Phillips (Community Director for StatusNet) will be speaking about microblogging software and free network services at the International Conference On Open Source (iCOS) on September the 18th. iCOS will be taking place from September 17th until the 19th. More details will be released as the conference approaches.

Evan Prodromou (CEO and founder of StatusNet) announced today that he will be speaking at TWTRCON SF10, which will be taking place November the 18th in San Francisco. Stay tuned for more details as the conference approaches.
